Melanie Cotterill

Melanie is a BEd teaching graduate and after graduation taught in primary schools in North Lincolnshire and Devon. Melanie grew up caring for a wide range of animals including horses, donkeys, goats, lambs, chickens, ducks, geese and even terns and gulls as well as the more traditional dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters.

Having spent the last few years running a successful childminding business Melanie is now applying her skills and experience to providing outstanding care for animals in Torbay and South Devon. She currently owns Merlin, a Jack Russell, and has trained a variety of dogs including a Lurcher, a German Shepherd, and a Springer Spaniel, achieving Good Citizenship awards after assessment.

Nigel Cotterill helps out on a part time basis with Torbay Pet Sitters. His background is in conservation training and whenever possible he likes to spend time outdoors walking with dogs, particularly on Dartmoor.

Beverley Kelly

Beverley and her husband Paul have been together for 23 years. After a few too many redundancies in the engineering service industry, Beverley decided to work from home whilst Paul is employed with the Emergency Ambulance Service.

Beverley enjoys photography, woodturning and walking. She has always had dogs in the family, two Labradors and a Jack Russell, but does not currently have a dog of her own. Beverley is able to give her undivided attention to her guests as she can be at home all day. She understands the need for the dogs routine to be maintained as much as possible to make them feel at ease in a different environment.
